We are currently looking to expand our fleet of delivery drivers, to work in our well established, market leading, sameday courier business.
You’ll be in the driving seat of a varied position where no two days are the same. You will work independently, but also be safe in the knowledge that everything you do is supported by your “ACE” colleagues.
Becoming one of our drivers is more than just travelling from A to B. You’ll play a crucial role in enabling us to deliver a cost effective, timely and efficient service to our customers. Our drivers and customers are at the heart of everything we do!
Yes you will drive long distances but you won’t do multi drop, just imagine every day being out on the open road, seeing the sights, without having to continually stop and start your journey. If you would like to become a member of our friendly team, we currently have the following permanent job opportunities available at our Castle Donington depot.
Sprinter Van Delivery Drivers:
- Full Time – Guarantee of a minimum of 160/200 hours per month
- PAYE position with a pay rate of £8.91 per hour
- Overtime available (paid at an enhanced rate)
7.5T Delivery Drivers:
- Full Time – Guarantee of a minimum of 160/200 hours per month
- PAYE position with a basic salary of £22,360.00 (£10.75 per hour)
- Overtime available at a rate of £15.06 – OTE £34,000.00 based on an average 55 hour week
- Loyalty bonus of £1,000
- Valid tacho and Driver CPC cards required
Class 2 (Cat C) Delivery Drivers:
- Full Time – Guarantee of a minimum of 180/225 hours per month
- PAYE position with a basic salary of £30,420.00 (£13.00 per hour)
- Overtime available at a rate of £18.21 – OTE £40,800.00 based on an average 55 hour week
- Loyalty bonus of £1,000
- Valid tacho and Driver CPC cards required

Typical Day:
- Be the face of “ACE” driving to customers on a nationwide basis
- Arrive at our Castle Donington depot and get comfy in your allocated vehicle for the day
- Drive to your collection and delivery destination/s
- Liaise with our office based operations team, who will help ensure your collections and deliveries are performed as easily and swiftly as possible
- Carry out vehicle checks at the start and end of your shift
- Help us maintain our vehicles by making sure they are kept clean and tidy inside and out
- No nights out
Ideal Candidate:
- You will live in the Derby/Nottingham/Loughborough area and have your own transport
- Enjoy driving and preferably hold dedicated delivery driving experience
- You will be a confident and courteous driver, not fazed by long distance driving
- Enthusiastic, flexible and friendly with the willingness to go that extra mile
- Be able to present a current driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
